Trailer Letters
In the event of an emergency, the Vermilion Police
Department and Emergency services have been given security gate cards to Riverview. This allows police, fire, and ambulance
services to easily find your location. Please
place three-inch letters on the side of your trailer that face the road. Your last name and site # need to be indicated on your trailer.
Remove any previous owners name or site number and replace it with the correct information.

For many years, Art and Bertha Berta only took referrals from current campers and boaters instead of advertising. We would like to thank you by offering something to you in return. If you refer a camper to us and they rent a campsite for a season, becoming a seasonal camper, we will give you a customer appreciation check for $100.00. Also, the family that was referred will get a $50.00 discount off their seasonal site. If you refer a new boater to us and they rent a dock slip or winter storage for the season, we will give you a customer appreciationcheck for $50.00. Also, the family that was referred will get a $15.00 discount off their seasonal boat dock rental or winter storage. 1) Forward Riverview's website to friends, campers, and boaters alike. riverviewrvparkandmarina.com.2) Ask the new seasonal camper or boater to inform us that you referred them when they rent a site or dock.
3) Please then E-mail us the name of the person or people your referred.
For example:
If you refer 4 new campers to Riverview and they rent campsites for a season, becoming seasonal campers, you get $400.
If you refer two boaters to Riverview and they rent docks for the season or rent winter storage, then we will give you $100.

Festival of the Fish 5K Race & One Mile Walk
The
Vermilion Family YMCA and Cleveland Clinic Lorain Sports Health would
like to invite everyone to participate in the 9th Annual Fish Festival
5K Race and One Mile Walk.
Registration begins at 8 am, Race time at 9 am, Walk at 9:05 am. The event will take place at the YMCA. Awards, door prizes and post race refreshments.

Calling All Gardeners
Calling
all gardeners...it is planting time in Vermilion!
Please help
Vermilion in Bloom brighten up the city by volunteering to plant
flowers next week.
Tuesday, May 12th 9:00 to 11:30 am (rain or shine): Meet at McGarvey's landing to plant the five large raised sandstone planters. Please bring buckets, gloves, and a garden trowel. Dress for the weather.
Wednesday,
May 13th 9:00 to 11:30 am (rain or shine): Meet at Exchange Park to
plant the flowers in the parks, street planters and the mayor's boxes.
Please bring a bucket, gloves, and garden trowel. Dress for the weather.
Saturday,
May 16th 8:30 am to Noon - City of Vermilion Pride Day: Meet at the
Gazebo in Victory Park for a fun morning of cleaning, seeding, and
mulching. Please bring rakes, shovels, gloves, buckets, garbage bags,
pitch forks, and wheelbarrows if you have them.
Sunday,
May 17th at Noon - Blessing of the Gardens: Meet in Victory Park for a
beautiful garden blessing ceremony. VIB and the Vermilion Ministerial
Association welcome all interested participants to bring a container of
soil from their gardens to be mixed, blessed and distributed. Music
and light refreshments will be served.

Lagoon Campsites
Most all lagoon campers have boats, however some of you have a lagoon sites without a boat. This message is for those campers who have a campsite on the Lagoon with no boat. As stated in Riverview Rules, you may not have a boat docked at a dock besides those of your immediate family, which include: mom, dad, brother, sister, grandfather, & grandmother. You may not have a friend keep their boat there nor rent out that spot on your own. The boat dock is not transferable. Please adhere to this rule.Please

Granny Joe's to Offer Free Ice Cream
Granny
Joe's Ice Creamatorium, in downtown Vermilion, will offer free ice
cream on Tuesday, May 12, to thank its past, present and future customers.
Free ice cream will be offered from 6 pm to 9 pm. Also offered will be hot dogs for 50 cents and BBQ for $1, served all day.
Located in one of the oldest buildings in Vermilion's historic Harbour
Town district and is located at 5598 Liberty
Avenue in downtown Vermilion.
