New Summer yarns and books
Oh my, oh my, oh my!   We received so many summer yummy yarns that I don't know which yarn to knit with first, but I did decide - see our sample section. Thankfully each yarn package arrived with great pattern support!
First off, Classic Elite Firefly. This yarn is a stunning 75% viscose 25% linen sport weight yarn. It has a beautiful sheen to it that combines so well with its rustic texture! Each 50 gram ball has 155 yards and costs $12. Check out our tank top made with just 5 balls of this awesome yarn:

Debbie Bliss Amalfi. A DK weight blend of 70% cotton, 15% viscose, 10% linen and 5% silk. Each ball has 100 metres and costs $ 7.95.   How about knitting a tank, scarf or little shawlette?  This yarn would really work with most projects!

Noro Aya. A stunning light worsted weight, this yarn is a blend of 50% cotton, 35% silk and15% wool. Each ball has 135 metres and costs $9.95.  It is so hard to photograph Noro's awesome colourways, so here is your excuse to drop by to see and feel for yourself how awesome this yarn really is!

Strappy Tank in Firefly.
I used 5 balls of this awesome yarn. I made just a few changes, I added an extra 1/2 inch to the body, knit 4 rows of K1 P1 ribbing at the bottom to prevent it from curling up and knit the i-cord straps to 6" not, the 10 & 1/2" the pattern states.

Citron, the next viral knit to hit the internet since the Clapotis scarf. Designed with Malabrigo Lace (which we have btw), we knit ours with 3 skeins of Elizabeth Lavold Silky Wool, potentially one of the best yarns on the planet:

Never Not Knitting's Leg Warmies in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. One ball will make a pair, but we like the two colour options. The pattern is free with purchase of yarn.

Sprout Baby Blanket, Classic Elite 100% organic cotton arrived and I had to knit something with this chunky cotton yarn and what better use than the dish cloth blanket, knit with four skeins.  It has already been tested out by our sweet Alana:
