It's break time!   

That means service projects and hanging out together in our Life Groups! The Beautiful Day team was blown away by the response your groups had to signing up and serving for the various projects. Way to go! My group was a bit late in signing up so we decided to serve a Kids Club Anderson School family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The experience  of planning and delivering the Thanksgiving food to the family and then enjoying a dinner together created a huge connecting time for the group. They're now so excited to serve the family for Christmas. 

This coming Wednesday (12/7 at 7pm)  is one of two of our Vertical Rep Gatherings for the year. I hope you'll make it a priority to attend! The purpose of these times is for us, as leaders, to focus on how we can grow in our capacity to love God as individuals and in our groups. Each gathering is unique and my desire is to create a time that is valuable to you, not just another meeting. This is a time for Shepherds and leaders, and some group members who have a passion in this area. 

May you take moments of time out of the busyness of the season of "doing" to experience God's presence, even in the mundane. Take moments to just "be" - to stop, look and listen. Be filled with God's love!

May you have a Merry Christmas! See you in the New Year when we gear up to invite others to experience community - Jan 7/8 and 14/15! Thank you for making a difference in the lives of those in your groups!
