In the upcoming weeks we will feature Special Musical talent at the 9am service. Our choir is taking a well-deserved break from rehearsing and singing to rest and heal during this time following the death of its director, Bill Robinson.

'SNL' goes to Broadway, September 9th

The NEXT edition of 'SNL' will be held on September 9th will feature a Broadway theme.

'SNL' will be held on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of in September. A social hour for meeting new friends and fellowship will begin at 6pm and then the program will start at 7pm. A free-will offering will be received by "passing the hat" to defray expenses.
If you are interested in participating by offering your unique creative talents, skills and gifts, then contact L.A. Walker at la@jlig.net and forward your video link or audio track to audition. Volunteers will also be needed for set-up, cleaning and security/closing.

MCCLV promotes Suicide Awareness

Suicide is an issue that is not often discussed and that deeply touches many of our lives. Most of us have known someone that has taken their own life and it leaves us wondering what we might have done to have changed things and made a difference. And others have personally felt the loneliness and despair that has let them to abandon hope and contemplate suicide as an option.

Monday, September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day. MCCLV will be including prayers for all who are affected during our worship services on September 8th & 9th. Fall Fun Fair & Festival October 20th

Treasures, Bargains, and MORE!

Got stuff that you'd like to sell and/or get rid of? MCCLV will host a "swap meet" style event on Saturday, October 20th from 10am to 3pm. You can reserve a "booth" the size of a parking space in our lot for only $10. Turn those surplus items into CASH by selling them directly out of your car trunk, or on your own ground tarp or a table. Don't have a tarp or table? Then, rent one of our tables for an additional $5 (limited number of tables are available). BYOC (Bring Your Own Chairs). Food vendors will also be offering food for sale. Join us for a Fun-Filled day of food, music, community service and MORE.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 to support this important and life sustaining ministry that seeks to counter the negative influences of the American Religious Right. Latino AIDS Awareness Day Once again, MCCLV will be hosting the Latino AIDS Awareness day on Saturday, October 13th from 9am to 3pm. FREE HIV testing will be conducted on site.

Women's AA Group "Happy, Joyous & Gay Women's AA Group" meets in Suite 303 on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
