During the month of August, MCCLV is praying for Rev. Kevin Downer and the congregation of All God's Children MCC in Minneapolis, MN.
- Prayer for peace, reconciliation, and unity that old rivalries end, ancient hurts are healed and a new Spirit live within and among all God's children;
- Prayers for All God's Children to have courage and clarity of purpose that we remain open to receive and respond to God's provocative vision to be who God needs us to be and go where God needs us to go;
- Prayers that our members and leaders grow more deeply connected with one another, our Creator and ourselves;
- Prayers for perseverance, patience and humility that I lead All God's Children through this period in Christ, with Christ and through Christ.

We give thanks for the life of Bill Robinson and for his dedication and faithfulness to the Gospel ministry of Jesus Christ through Metropolitan Community Church of Las Vegas. For over 6 years, Bill has been the director of the MCCLV Chancel Choir.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held to honor his memory at the church on Tuesday, August 7th at 7:30pm.
All are invited to attend as we grieve our loss, remember our friend and comfort one another.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 to support this important and life sustaining ministry that seeks to counter the negative influences of the American Religious Right. Latino AIDS Awareness Day Once again, MCCLV will be hosting the Latino AIDS Awareness day on Saturday, October 13th from 9am to 3pm. FREE HIV testing will be conducted on site.
Women's AA Group "Happy, Joyous & Gay Women's AA Group" meets in Suite 303 on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Several folks from our church have previously attended the MCC Size, Stewardship & Program Summits. Our denomination has scheduled additional summits to be held in 2012. These summits are open to anyone that wants to learn more about sustaining and empowering ministry. The dates are as follows:
