MCC Office of Formation and Leadership Development
Each month MCCLV prays for someone and their ministry--beyond our local church. During the month of May we are praying for Rev. Elder Mona West and OFLD.
- Prayers for the growth of the work of the OFLD globally, especially the creation of leadership protocols in Australia, Africa and Germany.
- Prayers for the health, encouragement and strength of our Clergy. That the OFLD will have the means by which to offer programs and support for our Clergy.
- Prayers for the new lay leadership certificate program, L.E.A.D. (Laity Empowered for Active Discipleship), that it will continue to grow and lay leaders will be strengthened in our churches.
- Prayers for continued vision and ability to articulate the spirituality of leadership in MCC.

U can ¢HANGE Uganda

During 2012, MCCLV is working to end oppression, persecution and create a safe haven in the African country of Uganda. Our goal is to raise $1,500 to support this important and life sustaining ministry that seeks to counter the negative influences of the American Religious Right. Several folks from our church have previously attended the MCC Size, Stewardship & Program Summits. Our denomination has scheduled additional summits to be held in 2012. These summits are open to anyone that wants to learn more about sustaining and empowering ministry. The dates are as follows:
