Improving Communications for YOU

MCCLV is enhancing and updating the various ways that we communicate and disseminate information in an effort to keep YOU informed, be more efficient AND more environmentally responsible.

As you probably know, we have previously had about 4 pages of information and announcements that have been included in EACH bulletin for EACH service. We will continue to provide ALL of the same information (and MORE) but will use different distribution methods in the future. Here is an overview of some of our new options:

1) All of the information that seldom changed and was mainly included for the benefit of first-time visitors and guests will now be published and available on the slat wall/info center in a new double-sided sheet entitled,
"Are YOU new @ MCCLV?"

2)The items that concerned changing events and on-going  opportunities for ministry and envolvement will also be available at the slat wall/info center on a sheet entitled
"What's Happening @ MCCLV" (this sheet will be printed in a reduced number of copies and is available mostly for the convenience of folks without internet access and for first-time visitors and guests)

3) Most of the information from the "What's Happening @ MCCLV" sheet will now be sent DIRECTLY to everyone that has email. You'll get regular updates and be able to read it in the comfort of your own home when you have more time. You'll have timely access to the information and the church will be able to be a better steward of our resources. Additionally, we can now embed "live links" to web sites within the email version--this will take you DIRECTLY to the additional information and you will no longer have to type complex and long web address that were previously printed in the bulletin.

4) NEW charts and stats will be posted on the bulletin board at church which will give a clearer picture of attendance and offering.

The bottom line is that ALL of the same information and MORE will continue be available to you but now it will be in forms that are much more efficient and both environmentally and financially responsible.

Below, you will find the first installment of "What's Happening @ MCCLV"

Rev. Mick Hinson
MCC San Antonio

Each month MCCLV prays for someone and their ministry--beyond our local church. During the month of January we are praying for Rev. Mick Hinson and MCC San Antonio, San Antonio, TX. His specific prayer requests are:
  • That our transition to a Server Computer system will go smoothly.
  • That our trainings in the month of January will be attended well and will empower and equip team leads for ministry in the new year.
  • That our commitment to tithing will increase.
  • That we will continue to make progress in becoming a Christ-Centered Program-Centered church.
