Dear Partner in Ministry,

November is "Stewardship Month" here at MCCLV. Each year we pause to give thanks for the many ways that God has blessed us over the course of the past year--both as individuals and as a community of faith. As your Stewardship Team, we are especially grateful for YOUR past support and enthusiasm for our common vision of an open and safe place that is life giving and life affirming to so many people. Each year, thousands of people come through our doors to discover a welcoming environment of hope and healing--a true oasis in the midst of a desert of isolation and rejection.

YOUR support is essential to ensuring that we have the resources needed to BOTH maintain our existing level of service and also to enhance and extend our outreach. We are called to continue to Spread the Light of God's love to those who still walk in darkness that they might discover that God's Good News also includes them.

We are asking everyone to consider the possibility of making a commitment to our shared ministry in the form of a written pledge to the General Operating Fund of MCCLV. Pledges are like goals, when you set them AND write them down, then they become tangible, real and achievable.

You are invited to pray about what God is calling YOU to do that will sustain and augment our transformative and life-changing ministry. Your contribution is important and makes a difference each and every day. Please consider your own personal goal for expressing God's generosity through your giving to MCCLV.

When we add our individual gifts together, then we are able to do far more cooperatively and collectively than any of us can do alone. The following goals represent the combined giving that is possible when we join together and commit ourselves to move toward the vision that God has placed before us:

Victory Goal: $150,000
Challenge Goal: $200,000
Hallelujah Goal: $250,000

Imagine the possibilities for new programs and ministries that will touch and change hearts if we step out in faith together and move beyond what we are currently able to do.

You are invited to complete the ONLINE Stewardship Pledge Form by clicking HERE. Your response before December 4th is appreciated. (It is more convenient than the paper form but those are also available if you prefer.)

In addition, please consider the option of signing up for automatic giving as a Sustaining Giver (we accept BOTH bank account transfers and credit cards). It is convenient for you and empowers your generosity to be consistent, constant and regular through all seasons. To sign up, click HERE now.

With gratitude and blessings,
Your Stewardship Team:

Stewardship Testimonies
from Supporters of MCCLV

Living as good stewards of God's gifts will satisfy the deepest, strongest longings of your heart. It will fill you with joy, happiness, satisfaction. Stewards know the meaning of life--and make real sacrifices to make the world a better place--making their own lives better in the process.

--Mark & Jun Mendoza

Someone, before we came along, believed in tithing, and thanks to him or her we found a place that we needed so much.

--Orlena Rascon & Claudia Sánchez

God only asks for 10%. I now see that giving my 10% is the least I can do and I now give it out of gratitude much more than responsibility.
--Nancy Taylor

This past year had been especially trying on us, and yet we still feel the need to give back 10% or more as the Holy Spirit guides me. The blessing you receive from putting your trust in God is comforting and uplifting.
--Irene Bradley

Tithing is a way to worship God. It's all God's money anyway. He blesses us so that we can be a blessing. I am a cheerful giver. I am blessed!
