Jun and I tithe ten percent of what we bring in as a couple to our church; it is part of our budget just like paying rent or a car payment. But it is much more because giving freely to something you love, something that gives back so much, is true stewardship. We tithe so that those who can't still have a safe place to go to worship our God. We give in honor of those who also give and those who gave before us; the stewards that gave their time and money to keep MCCLV going through the years. MCCLV was there with Love and Open Arms for Jun and I to walk into and experience a truly Holy place to Worship. We are blessed because others with loving and giving souls gave. We are blessed because we give. Many more will be blessed because we give.
Living as good stewards of God's gifts will satisfy the deepest, strongest longings of your heart. It will fill you with joy, happiness, satisfaction. Stewards know the meaning of life -- and make real sacrifices to make the world a better place -- making their own lives better in the process.
