Creating your own unique profile on our secure server is as easy as choosing a user ID and password, then designating a bank account or card number as a funding source.
Once you've established your online ID, then you can login at anytime to directly and privately manage and track your own giving.

You can still participate in the offering during worship by placing one of the "I support my church through electronic giving" cards in the offering plate as a symbol of your dedication and commitment to making ministry happen. October Prayer Partner

Rev. Elder Troy Perry,
Founder of UFMCC
During the month of October, MCCLV is praying for the Rev. Elder Troy Perry (shown above with his partner Mr. Phillip De Blieck). Rev. Perry founded the first MCC in Los Angeles in October of 1968 and served as the moderator of our denomination until his retirement in 2005. He continues to be an active speaker and tireless advocate for human rights and justice.

Throughout the month of
October MCCLV will be celebrating our 30th or "Pearl" Anniversary.
(Just as 25th anniversaries are "Silver" and 50th anniversaries are "Gold," the 30th anniversary is designated as "PEARL.")
Rev. Lindsey will be doing a
"pearl themed" sermon series October 4th, 11th & 18th.

Rev. Norris served on the staff of MCC Los Angeles (the "Mother Church" of our movement) under the Founding Pastor, Rev. Troy Perry. She is the first heterosexual woman ordained to the ministry in MCC and one of our "Precious Pearls." She will share her testimony and some "Pearls of Wisdom from Our Past" with us.

Pearl Offering Goal: $30,000

Preserving the Precious Pearl
of our Ministry
On October 24/25th we will
receive a special additional Anniversary "Pearl Offering" to sustain, protect
and ensure our important ministry that is transformative and
life-giving to so many. In Matthew 13:45-46 Jesus says: Again, the
kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls; on
finding one of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought
it.
Consider the possibility of giving a one-time additional gift to
support and uphold that which we value and is precious to us. TOGETHER
we can reach our goal of $30,000 to protect our vital ministry assets and offset the shortfall in our budget due to tenants in our building that are behind on their rents.
Please prayerfully consider giving a gift at one of the following
levels (or perhaps greater):

We need 2 gifts at this level for a total of $10,000

We need 5 gifts at this level for a total of $5,000

We need 11 gifts at this level for a total of $5,500

Angels in Action Awards

Nominate someone that
Makes a Difference.
Nominate an "Angel" for their Commitment and Dedication to the Ministry of MCCLV by using the forms
at the Info Center/Slat Wall at the back of the sanctuary. Completed forms may be given to a Board member, Staff member or the Church Office in suite 302 no later than October 18th. Awards will be made as part of our Anniversary Potluck Banquet on October 25th. Plan to attend and see who this year's Angels in Action are--it might be YOU.
