"An Evening with Poe" is back!

The Frazier Museum is excited to offer our eerie original "An Evening with Poe" series for the third year in a row.

Public performances are October 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31 and November 1 & 2. All performances are at 7:30 p.m., except for the Oct. 24 and 31 performances, which will be at 8:15 p.m.

This year,
eight Poe tales will be presented, six poems and two spooky short stories, including:
  • The Raven
  • The Murders in the Rue Morgue
  • Spirits of the Dead
  • Alone
  • The City in the Sea
  • The Bells
  • The Masque of the Red Death
  • Dream Within a Dream

New this year: accompaniment by local musicians! "The Tamerlane Trio" has crafted an unusual repertoire of 19th Century music specifically for "An Evening with Poe" performances. They've also written an original musical setting for Poe's "Dream Within a Dream." Members of the trio have performed independently with groups such as Sandpaper Dolls, Fire the Saddle, Squeeze-bot and others, and have collaborated on various projects for the past decade. Read more and purchase tickets here.

Glittering Fine Jewelry... Win it!

The Frazier Museum has partnered with Royal Jewelers to hold a fabulous jewelry raffle. Purchase one $25 ticket and be eligible to win a piece or set of eye-popping diamond and precious gemstone jewelry! Drawings will take place on November 15 at our "Diana: A Celebration" Girls Night Out event. See more photos and purchase tickets here.

Strong Opening for "Diana: A Celebration"

The museum has enjoyed a strong start to our current temporary exhibition, "Diana: A Celebration." In the first 10 days alone, more than 4,200 guests visited the exhibit and admired the 150 objects that illustrate the late Princess Diana's short life. Included in the nine galleries are Diana's royal wedding gown with 25-ft. train, 28 designer gowns and dresses, family heirlooms, diamond tiaras, priceless jewels and rare home movies from the princess' childhood.

We've received glowing reviews from all who've toured the exhibit, and look forward to continued success this fall and winter. "Diana: A Celebration" is at the museum through January 13.

Purchase tickets here or call (502) 753-5663. All tickets are timed and advance purchase recommended.  Click here for information about the exhibition.
