"Diana: A Celebration" Opens September 15
|  Experience the life and humanitarian work of one of the most remarkable women of the 20th Century, Diana, Princess of Wales. Direct from England, explore nine galleries with over 150 objects, including Diana's royal wedding gown, 28 designer dresses, family heirlooms, personal mementoes, diamond tiaras, priceless jewels and rare home movies!
This blockbuster exhibit is expected to draw record crowds, and we fully expect certain days to sell out, especially weekends! All tickets are timed, and advance purchase is highly recommended.

The Frazier Museum has planned several special events in conjunction with "Diana: A Celebration." From sweet Princess Tea parties, to a kick-off bash complete with award-winning deejays and signature drinks, we've planned something for every age group. All events include access to the "Diana: A Celebration" exhibition.
Friday, Sept. 14, 2012- A Royal Evening Honoring Diana
An intimate group of 350 will be the first in Louisville to see "Diana: A Celebration." Complete with a decadent, three-course plated dinner, musical surprises and a posh atmosphere, this elegant black tie fundraiser is sure to please.
Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012- KNight for a Princess
Let your hair down and dance the night away at this 21-and-up soiree that will celebrate the opening of "Diana: A Celebration." Show your love for all things British in the costume contest! Enter our Facebook Contest for a chance to win two tickets!
Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012- Member Viewing Party
Free and by invitation only. To get your invitation, become a member today! Timed tickets will be issued with RSVP. Space is limited and a reservation is required. Cash bar and tasty hors d'oeuvres.
Sundays, Sept. 30, Oct. 28, Nov. 25 and Dec. 30- Princess Tea Parties
Put on your finest tea or princess attire and join us for tea and savories, activities, exhibition access and lots of Princess Diana fun at this special event designed just for children.
Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012- Girls Night Out
Grab your girls, grab a drink and enjoy a night just for you! Appetizers, chocolate, wine, cash bar and other girly fun!

Everyone at the Frazier Museum was deeply saddened when Owsley Brown Frazier, our founder and greatest supporter, passed away on August 16. We've since been overwhelmed by the number of comments, notes and kind words offered by members of the community. Mr. Frazier's lifetime of generosity touched hundreds of thousands of people, near and far. He will be greatly missed.

| Last Chance to See "Samurai" |

If you haven't made it to the museum to see "Samurai," your last chance is Saturday, September 30! This mysterious and beautiful original exhibition explores 1,500 years of Japanese History. More than just armor and samurai swords, visitors will see centuries-old kimono, mirrors dating back to the third century, equine equipment used by samurai warriors and much more. | The Frazier Museum is participating in Smithsonian Magazine's annual Museum Day Live! on Saturday, September 29, 2012. On this day, many museums around the country offer free admission. Fill out this online form to receive a voucher that's good for admission at the Frazier History Museum on September 29.
