Idea Spark-lers
Are you needing some painting ideas to get you going? Well, you've come to the right place!

Quotations...are just so darned inspiring!

I've been a collector of quotes for a very long time. They aren't all serious and inspirational either. Some are just funny... at least to me. (And remember... I'm very easily amused)

Seven or eight years ago I did a series of 12 x 12 paintings with quotes printed around edge of the painting... At the opening, it was great fun to eavesdrop on people reading them out loud and chuckling...

Some of my favorites are...

"We are all worms, But I do believe that I am a glow worm." - Winston Churchill

First you are young...

"To err is human; to refrain from laughing, humane." - Lane Olinghouse

money talks...

"Teamwork is a lot of people doing what I say."
- Somebody's boss

Stop and devote our attention to eating...

So grab your favorite quote...and try to illustrate it. It doesn't have to be as literal as the examples I've given.

And a nifty added bonus of trying this, is that you've already named your painting, even before you put brush to paper!
