Hey there!
Hope this finds you well...
I'm still working on the new studio up north. The painting wall gets installed tomorrow, the sink will go in sometime within the next month. I'll be painting (walls) next week and dreaming of new lighting... whoo hoo!

Watercolor and white ink on paper

This started as a plein air painting, and then needed a little something added after I got back to the studio. White ink was just the ticket. Interested in this painting? Click here for more information.
Idea Spark-lers
Are you needing some painting ideas to get you going? Well, you've come to the right place!

Adding ink or colored pencil on top of watercolors can add a bit of dimension and depth.

Occasionally, one of your paintings might need some detail to pull it together... Next time, instead of reaching for your rigger, or 5 haired brush, sharpen those colored pencils and add some lines. This is especially fun to do on a painting that has really sort of missed the mark. No holds barred...scribble away! You just might end up with something that pleases you.
