Canary Islands ~Virtual Paint-out 7x7 inches Watercolor
"Canary Islands" was unfortunately, a big struggle...I'm so out of practice with Watercolor! This is a second attempt at all those bits and pieces.
I really wanted to participate in the virtual paintout this month. (see the idea spark-ler) They say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.This painting didn't kill me but....
My new name is Wonder Woman. :)

Do you need some painting ideas to get you
going? Well, you've come to the right place!
The Virtual Paintout~ This is just the coolest idea!
Bill Guffey has created a virtual paintout site.
"Virtual paintouts using Google Street View as a resource for
traveling the world to find interesting locations and subjects to paint."
What you do is go to the place of the month on google maps...then click on and drag the little yellow guy (over the enlarge/reduce slider thingy) over to the map and walk him around until you find a spot that you want to paint. Make sure he's over a blue colored area...all areas of the map aren't available to walk on just yet.
WARNING: Set a timer or something... you could find yourself virtually walking around forever!! :)
I've participated for the first time this week and it won't be the last. How about you?
ps...If you want to be included in the virtual paintout blog, Bill has some specific instructions you have to follow. They are clearly written on the bottom of the blog.
