Greetings!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we're reminded of all that we have to be thankful for. By the end of the year, we will have awarded $548,000 to 24 promising physical therapist researchers. Thank you for making this possible.

One person who has benefited directly from your generosity is Ericka Merriwether, PT, DPT, a doctoral student who is focusing her research on excessive foot progression angle (FPA) to help patients with diabetes and peripheral neuropathy. We are excited to share her story with you.

Among other exciting news to share with you this month - The Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge also kicked off at National Student Conclave in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with 62 PT and PTA schools pledging to help us reach the $2 million mark in funds raised by the Challenge since 1989. And don't forget to place your bids in our online auction!

All of us at the Foundation wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for helping to make 2010 a great year!
