| Greetings! |
We are honored to share the stories of just a few of the individuals who have made an impact on the Foundation. This month, we feature Michael Lewek, PT, PhD, who is using his 2009 research grant to investigate how locomotor training can help post-stroke patients learn to walk again.
You'll also meet Steven Tepper, PT, PhD, a former grant recipient who teaches continuing education courses and uses them as a way to raise funds for the Foundation.
We also honor the lives of two Foundation friends and supporters, Gloria Marie Brawley, PT, PhD, and Nancy Keating, PT. They each leave a tremendous legacy.
We are excited to reveal the lucky winner of the Aloha Sweepstakes! Don't forget: the deadline for our 2010 Kendall Scholarships and 2011 Research Grants is August 18th at 12pm, ET!

Say Aloha to our Winner |
Sweepstakes Winner Revealed Congratulations to the winner of our Aloha Getaway Sweepstakes: Sue A. Stover, PT, of Upland, IN!
"I had planned on making a donation to the Foundation, so being able to enter the sweepstakes was an added bonus. I've been involved in research for 27 years as part of my career, so I know how difficult it is to get funding. I also think it's important to support research as the medical (healthcare) field becomes more evidence-based."
Congratulations, Sue!
Thank you to everyone who made gifts to the Foundation and participated in the Aloha Getaway Sweepstakes! Stay tuned for news of our next getaway sweepstakes! |
