Pledges $10,000 to Foundation

Well known for his generous spirit and community involvement, Brad Thuringer, PTA recently pledged a gift of $10,000 to the Foundation to support physical therapy research.  Winner of the Foundation's 2009 Robert C. Bartlett Innovation in Fundraising Award, Brad has devoted countless hours to raising money for a PTA ticket through the annual split raffle.  He also created the "PTA Big Give Campaign" as part of the Foundation's recent major gifts campaign.  Brad's generosity extends to homeless children in the host city for each APTA Annual Conference through the event known as "Shoeless Sunday," which provides shoes and socks to children in homeless shelters.

Brad chose to make his gift by pledging a monthly gift over 4 years, which will total $10,000, as part of the Foundation's ExcePTional program.  Brad truly lives up to the program's name.  Thank you, Brad!
