Greetings!

|
I am pleased to share this issue of our newsletter with you. This month we are proud to announce the appointment of Bill Boissonnault as the President of the Foundation's Board of Trustees. We are grateful to Rich Shields for his service as President.
They say no foundation ever employs a good man - they just borrow him for a few years before he must get back to the other passions in his life. In Rich's case these include his family, his research at the University of Iowa, exercising and watching his daughter, Bridget, excel on the Drake University women's softball team.
Rich not only provided answers to some very challenging questions but he also provided the context to these answers noting the path of least resistance today may, at times, be a very poor investment for the Foundation in the future. The Foundation is fortunate to have had Rich share so much of himself in order to advance our mission for the benefit of physical therapists and the people they serve.

June Survey Results/July Survey
 |
Many thanks to those of you who participated in our June Survey. It was interesting to see that half of you reported that you have seen a PT to address personal health concerns. The trivia question was a bit of a challenge - only 13% knew that Stephen Rose, PhD, was the first Chair of the Scientific Review Committee. Thanks for trying! View the results here.
This month we feature 2 of the questions posed by your colleagues as well as a trivia question that connects one of the nation's favorite summer past-times with the Foundation! Take the July survey! | |
