Greetings!

June has been a great month for the Foundation!  We celebrated our 30th anniversary during PT09 in Baltimore with our annual Dinner Dance.  As you will see below, we awarded our highest honors, recognized the top fundraising schools for the Georgia State - Marquette Challenge, and announced the winners of our annual Split Raffle.

This year's Dinner Dance was particularly special because we were joined by members of the Clagett Family, whose aunt and uncle, Lansdale and Gladys Clagett, remembered the Foundation in their will with a gift of more than $500,000. I encourage you to read the remarkable story of a polio patient who achieved his dream of walking thanks to his physical therapist.

In honor of our 30th anniversary, the Foundation created an 18-month wall calendar, featuring just a few of the individuals who have been a part of our rich history.  If you have not received your calendar, please contact us.

Polio Patient Walks
After years of physical therapy, a former polio patient achieves his lifelong dream of walking.  Wanting others who need it to have access to PT, Lansdale Clagett and his wife Gladys remembered the Foundation in their will.  Recently the Foundation received this generous gift of a half million to support physical therapy research. Read the remarkable story.

May Survey Results

Many thanks to those of you who participated in our May Survey.  We were surprised to learn that basketball is the favored sport amond the respondents.  Few realized that the event formerly known as the Annual Banquet began in 1981.  Thanks for trying!  We have no doubt you will be as fascinated to see what quality our respondents believe every PT should have.  See the complete survey results.
