Greetings!
Happy New Year to you all! So just where did 2011 go?
Throughout 2011 the newsletter showcased 10 different charities, promoted 17 special events and included 78 separate articles. I do hope there was something in there for you and that you continue to find the newsletter of value.
Please remember if you are a charity (or know of a charity) that needs a bit of free publicity, this newsletter is distributed to over 700 people, and it won't cost you a penny!
The launch of Dancing Giraffe gets ever closer and indeed January 16 is our scheduled launch date. |

Don't forget to get your calendar up on display!

It doesn't seem like six months ago that a number of us ladies got naked for the Business Woman's Network calendar in aid of Farleigh Hospice.
So for those of you kind enough to buy one (and there's 5000 out there), it's time to proudly display it on the wall.
And here's a little reminder of January featuring Debbie Hunt and Angela Lock from Alexander Rose Estate Agents. |

Come Fly with Me! - an update
|
You may recall I successfully bid for a one hour ride in a Full Flight Simulator at The FlightSafety Farnborough Training Centre, for two people. This is one of the world's premier flight instruction centres with over 1m training hours per year!
In last month's issue I offered the second place under a silent auction. Just in case you didn't see the article I am repeating it here ... There is no set date for the event - we can agree on a mutually convenient date, although it must be taken by 31 May. The undisclosed reserve price mentioned last time was in fact just £20, however since I received no bids I am opening it up again, so pease feel free to bid as low or as high as you like.

Click on the button to place your bid 31 January. Good luck!
Here is me pictured at the Ball with Ray Edwards, chairman and founder of Limbcare, and who I have featured in the inspirational people series that ran during the early days of the newsletter.

And Finally - Go Grab a Coffee

So here we are, it's 2012 and finally the year of the Olympics and Paralympics is upon us. If you're lucky enough to have got some tickets, then you can start to get excited!
But there's plenty of things happening between now and the start and all sorts of ways to get involved. Indeed the organisation are currently looking for 'Local Leaders' to make the most of everything happening within the local community. Fancy it? It is after all a once in a lifetime opportunity.
