employee searchingWe have all heard the saying that employees don't leave jobs they leave their supervisor. When the economy does pick up will your best and highest performing employees move on?  What can you do as a supervisor to influence that decision your employee will make? Join us on July 16th when Doris  Blanks  from VSP will present "Rewards & Recognition" and share some of the programs in place at VSP's Technical Assistance Center for the retention and recognition of high performing employees.

Join us on July 16th as Doris Blanks, VSP IT Manager for the last twelve years, shares her knowledge of retention and recognition with us.

Who is VSP?  VSP® (Vision Service Plan) Vision Care and their Family of Companies position themselves to attract, hire and retain high-performing employees who have a personal stake in the company's success. It's this approach that landed VSP on Fortune Magazine's prestigious list of "100 Best Companies to Work for in America" list for nine consecutive years, from 2000 through 2008. It's this approach that sets VSP apart from the competition.

VSP also won the Call Center of the Year Award in 2008 for having the highest combined customer and employee overall very satisfied rating for SQM's 2008 Call Center Benchmarking Study.

Why should you attend?  It can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 to recruit and train a new employee if you are allowed to replace an employee who leaves.  Most of us cannot risk the change of another unfilled opening.  Learning how to retain your employees can keep your department afloat in these tumultuous times.
