For 10 years, Beliefnet has honored extraordinary individuals who have made the world a better place through their amazing service to others. This year's candidates are equally remarkable: from the young girl whose legacy still inspires change around the world to a man who swam the English Channel after losing his arms and legs.
They will have two winners this year, Reader's Choice and Editor's Pick. Voting is easy, just hit the Facebook "like" button that appears at the end of each person's story. The person with the most "likes" will win the Reader's Choice award. Both awards will be announced January 31, 2011.
