WHole Foods market & South Florida Youths Support Joshua Williams and his FOUNDATION to

DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES in North Miami.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20TH, 2010 AT 2PM AT THE GRIFFIN CENTER IN ORTH MIAMI

MIAMI - November 20, 2010 - Joshua's Heart Foundation and over 40 youths along with Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mayor Pierre will be distributing food to low income families on Saturday, November 20th, from 3p.m. to 6p.m., at the Griffin Center in North Miami located at 12220 Griffin Blvd. North Miami. A wholesome and nutritionally balanced variety of food will be distributed to those who qualify under the emergency food assistance program.

A turnout of more than 250 working poor and less fortunate families are expected. Nine-year old Joshua founded the organization over four years ago, when he was only five-years old. One day he decided to give his pocket money to a hungry homeless man and that is what sparked his mission to "Stomp out Hunger". Joshua's Heart Foundation provides various efforts to help feed needy families.

"I think it's important to help others and this thanksgiving is extra special because youths are inspired by the work we are doing in the community and they want to help, they too want to make a difference. After all, by example I hope to foster philanthropy for the next generation." Youths are indeed helping us to make a difference in the community," said Joshua Williams, Founder of Joshua's Heart Foundation. "This is AMAZING"

"Whole Foods Market is a company with a conscience. Just like Joshua's Heart Foundation, we believe passionately in supporting the communities we serve, "said Macarena Luz Bianchi, the Marketing Team Leader at the Whole Foods Market in South Beach.

Joshua's Heart Foundation was anxious to find a bigger location in North Miami to have their annual distribution, and is thrilled to have partnered with the City of North Miami. The city will provide the location, police support and garbage pickup. Mayor Pierre will be on hand to distribute certificates from the city on behalf of Joshua's Heart Foundation to more than 40 youths who collected food or volunteered to distribute food on the day. Recipients will be mostly from the North Miami area.

Expected guest includes: Congress Woman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Mayor Pierre, Council Members and Commissioner for the District.

Sponsors of Joshua's Heart North Miami food distribution include Whole Foods Market, First Care Home Services, Nathans Hot Dogs, City of North Miami, Colombostile, Teekay Photography, and Video Supreme.
