JHF is currently focused on two initiatives:
"Back Pack" Program -- providing a "Back Pack" of food over the weekends for one year for children in need and the
Reading Program -- in collaboration with the Hallandale Beach Teen Center, which works to keep kids in school and off the streets. The reading program is intended to get these kids into books and to help them understand the importance of becoming life-long readers for long-term success.
