In order to fulfill your destiny, you have to make a plan according to God's purposes and stay focused to fulfill that plan. Wake up each day knowing where you're headed, which direction you're taking and what you are going to accomplish  ----and then stick with it! Don't allow the distractions and busyness of life get you off course.

Ask yourself, ``Is this my purpose in life, or am I just wasting time being busy and not really making any progress?'' Proverbs 4:25 says, ``Keep your eyes fixed straight ahead. Don't look to the left and don't look to the right.'' Don't be distracted and spend your time and energy on things that are not helping you fulfill your destiny.

I believe that God's plans are blessed and as you walk in His plan for your life, you will experience His abundance in everything you set your hand on!
 
Macys Shop for a Cause 3 Updates

We would like to thank all the volunteers, who assisted us in selling tickets for the Macys Shop for a Cause fundraiser.
 
This was a great discount. We hope to do this again in September. We had  6 to 8 volunteers selling tickets at Macys. Amanda (not pictured) our 8 year old elf was the best seller, her group sold $141 in tickets.
 
We were told everyone had fun and we were able to raise $1,000.  Thank you for your help.
 
We have a new volunteer assisting with Face book. We want to thank Nic Smith for his assistance and Joni Williams for assisting with the monthly Newsletter.

We need an attorney to review documents for us once per month or less.
 
CPA Needed
We need a CPA to file our annual income tax. 
 
Office Worker Needed
We are in need of volunteers  to assist with office duties. We will take whatever time you give.

Upcoming Events
 
March  28th
Join us as we join the City of North Miami Police Department, in partnership with the North Miami Police Athletic League (PAL) and The Children's Trust  for their  annual Families Against Crime Together (FACT) Festival on Saturday, March 28, 2009. 

This year's sponsor is the Childrens Trust. The Festival will be held at Griffing Park, located at N.E. 123rd Street and West Dixie Highway, from 11:00am until 2:00pm. As in previous years, there will be an appearance from the Miami Dolphins football players and cheerleaders.
 
This free event is open to the public and all ages are welcome. It is designed to educate the public about a variety of timely community issues and provide citizens with information about the many social services and resources offered by local community-based organizations and agencies, including the North Miami Police Department.
 
There will be lots of other giveaways, we are giving away a free bicycyle.  

Volunteers are Needed.

Food Distribution for low income and less fortunate families in South Florida
Where: North Miami Church of God, 14250 North Miami Ave.
Time: 2pm (All volunteers are asked to be at the church by 11am to prepack food boxes.)
 
This project was supported by a grant from the Dade Community Foundation, Greater Miami's permanent endowment made possible by generous donors since 1967
