Disney Pic 2Disney Employees Make a Donation

Thank you Disney Employees!!!

The employees of the Disney Store at International Mall all came together and donated boxes of toys and food to Joshuas Heart for our Christmas distribution. They are a great bunch of people and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Thank you guys. You have made a difference.

Christmas Distribution a Hugh Success

Our Christmas toy, food, clothes and miscellenous house appliances give away was huge. We started on time and the signing in process was pretty smooth.  Each child was given the chance to choose what they wanted. The children were extremely delighted. It can touch your heart to see a smile on a child's face when you make a difference in his/her life.

Pictures will be uploaded soon on our website. Thanks to all the volunteers and donors who made this possible.

Joshua Received Standing Ovation at Council Meeting

In December, Joshua spoke at the North Miami Beach Council meeting where he informed them about his organisation. He received a standing ovation and was invited to speak at another meeting. We look forward to receving their support on one of our projects.

Joshua also spoke at the North Miami Council Meeting. When he completed his speech Councilman Despinosse  was so moved he came over and gave him a hug and a donation towards his cause.

They promise to review Joshua's proposal and get back to him.

See our Thanksgiving Distribution on Just News (ABC local  10 news, now called Just news)

Joshua's Heart was able to have a food distribution on Tuesday, November 25th because of ABC Local 10 Careforce Team. Upon learning that we would not be having a distribution for thanksgiving as originally planned, channel 10 came to our rescue. They donated a truck of food and turkey, and El Dorado donated the truck to transport the food. We were able to distribute to over 350 families.

This was aired on Thanksgiving Day on Channel 10.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!

Quote for the Month

Often people attempt to live their lives backwards;

they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier.

The way it actually works is the reverse.

You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want."

~ Margaret Young
