Greetings!
We are pleased that you have registered for one or both of our workshops on March 22nd and 24th, addressing technically specific and detailed information on the Rhode Island Stormwater Design and Installation Standards Manual.
If you registered, but find that you are unable to attend, we ask that you please let us know as soon as possible. You can e-mail Lisa at lphilo@uri.edu.
Most importantly, we wanted to provide you with a few last-minute details:
1.) Change of location: Due to an overwhelming response, we are not able to hold these workshops in the smaller room noted previously. We will be in CBLS 100, the same auditorium used for the workshops held in January.
2.) Lunch is provided: Thanks to the generous contributions of organizations who will be hosting display tables at the workshops, we are able to provide lunch to attendees. Those organizations include:
- Flood Management Association
- Green Street Systems
- GridTech
- Pare Corporation
- StormWater Compliance
3.) Please bring your manual: The manuals will be used for the design exercises, so bring your manual with you. Alternatively, you may bring your laptop to access a PDF version of the manual, but we ask attendees to limit their use of electronic devices solely to that purpose.
4.) No handouts will be provided: We will be posting final agendas as well as PowerPoint presentations on our NEMO website by Monday the 22nd. If you would like to have a copy of either of those at the workshops, please print a copy and bring it with you.
We look forward to two productive sessions! |
