Russell Farrell K6KNR
Russ received his CERT training in 2006 and CMAP in 2009. He has volunteered for the Santiago Fire, 5K races, election ballot collection points, POD exercises, and numerous other events. He became the CERT team leader for Modjeska Park in 2008. Active in RACES since 2008, Russ and a number of other Anaheim RACES and CERT members have worked to install radios, power outlets, batteries, antennas and a tower on the RACES trailer. Also, Winlink antennas were installed for the EOC Radio Room.
Russ passed his Novice and Technician ham radio licenses in his early teens while living outside of Boston and joined the Navy immediately after high school, attending Electronics Technician School. In 2002 Russ obtained his General class license and later in 2006 his Extra Class (K6KNR). We thank Russ for his dedicated service to the Anaheim CERT and RACES programs.
