Dear United Way Supporter, Thank you for your tireless commitment to our community through the United Way of St. Joseph County. Despite last year's trying economy, you continued to make an impact in our county. Because of people like you, the 2010 annual fundraising campaign raised $3,032,615, which in turn was leveraged to over $8 million in community impact. Also, through United Way partner agency programs, nearly 80,000 children, women, and men right here in St. Joseph County benefitted from your support. Thousands more were impacted by United Way initiatives and community services. Below you will find a Dollars Raised/Leveraged statement which shows how donated dollars (98.5% of every dollar stays in our county) were utilized to gain the highest possible return on investment. Over the last 10 years, United Way has raised $37,000,000 and has made a huge positive impact in our community. Undoubtedly, we could not be as effective without the help of individuals like you. As the 2011 campaign is about to begin, we look forward to your continued support of United Way and its mission. Together we can create long-lasting change and make St. Joseph County an even better place to live. With gratitude, Greg Downes & Dave Switzer, 2011 Campaign Chair and Vice Chair |
