2010 Campaign Update -Campaign1

It's not too late to give!

CampaignWe have filed for and received about $54,000 in funding from the 1010 matching grant and anticipate more soon! However, due to a decrease in overall campaign donations, if we fall just 10% short of our campaign goal, the consequences could be devastating.

Pacesetter Winner 

A 32" flat screen was awarded to El Campito for winning the Pacesetter competition for achieving at least a 10% increase and reporting results by Sept. 1, 2010.

A: A volunteer board of directors governs United Way of St. Joseph County. Hundreds of volunteers plan and organize the annual fundraising campaign, collect contributions, and determine how contributions should be distributed to the local partner agencies. Volunteers are supported by a professional staff.

Calling 2-1-1 enables you to find human, health, and social services in our community quickly and efficiently. 2-1-1 currently lists 609 agencies in the St. Joseph County database that represent 1,878 programs available in our community.

Ron Silverman, South Bend, Becomes Board IAUWChair for Indiana Association of United Ways 

United WayThe Indiana Association of United Ways has elected Ron Silverman, South Bend, as its 2011 Board Chair. Silverman will serve as the chief volunteer officer of the association of 62 United Ways and United Funds in Indiana and lead the Board of Directors.
