Call for Abstracts now open, view here. Submit
an abstract describing a research study, case study, practice
innovation, or international project in the areas of professional
practice, wound, ostomy, or continence. New This YearSelected oral abstracts will
be presented in designated concurrent sessions in each of the four conference tracts. A selection of "research study" abstract topics that contribute
significantly to the evidence base of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence
nursing practice will be presented during one general conference
session. Deadline:
Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:59pm (PT)

Call for Research Proposals - Hollister Grant Extended Deadline

The Center for Clinical Investigation has announced the deadline for the Hollister Grant has been extended until October 5, 2009.
Attention to Detail. Attention to Life. - Continence Care Leadership Program Research Grant supported by Hollister Incorporated and the WOCN Society has up to $15,000 available to fund one to two projects this year.

Call for Preceptors!

What better way of giving back to the WOC nursing field then becoming a preceptor to future WOC nurses?  The WOCN Society is always looking for more members to sign up to be listed in the preceptor database. Signing up doesn't mean you are committing to anything, it just adds
your name to the list. If you are contacted by a student, you'll still need to
provide additional verification. What a great way to be a mentor!
