New Confidential Email Encryption
In an effort to protect your confidential information, and in conjunction with newly enacted Massachusetts Privacy Law 201 CMR 17, we have recently implemented an encryption software system for email.
Starting soon, emails that we send to you that contain any personal information (account #'s, etc.) will be automatically encrypted and will require a password for you to access them. The first time such an email is sent to you, you will have to set up your password. You will receive a 'secure email' from The Braver Group with instructions. The email will direct you to a secure website where you will establish a password. Please remember this password as this will be the one that you will use to retrieve all future encrypted emails.
The instructions for retrieving encrypted emails are fairly straightforward. Please note that emails we send that do not contain personal information will still be delivered in the normal manner, without encryption. If you encounter any problems, please call your Relationship Manager. 
We recognize that requiring a password is an extra step in the email process. However, we trust that you share our concern around protecting confidential information and will agree that this is a worthwhile change.
