New name, new look...

We are launching a new brand at Calamus called "Cosmic". We wanted something that spoke to a unique feature of our winery, the observatory, and that had powerful shelf appeal. Introducing Cosmic White - a blend of Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer.

Come to Calamus this weekend and try this great new wine, an off-dry, easy drinking sipper that may well be your "go to" wine for the patio this summer. It will be released in Vintages in January, 2012 so stock up now - $14.95 at the winery.

Our 2010 Calamus White will also be released this weekend - our first peak at the very promising 2010 vintage. Come...try...enjoy!!

Jazz in June

Join us on Thurs. June 16 for a evening of Jazz in the event room. Well known guitarist Warren Stirtzinger and saxophonist Alistair Robertson will perform a wonderful repertoire of music. Wines will be available by the glass for you to sip on as you listen to songs such as Night and Day, Someone to Watch Over Me and Days of Wine and Roses. The evening will start with a couple of complimentary wine samples at the tasting bar. You can enjoy some munchies out on the decks and socialize to the sounds of this talented duo. If it is a clear night we might even do some star gazing from our observatory. Space is limited so call today, 905-562-9303, to reserve your spot - $20 per person.
