Wow!  Who knew a year ago what 2010 would have in store for any of us!  Certainly our best year yet for wine awards and accolades.  I think our proudest was being selected as one of the top ten wineries entering the 2010 Intervin wine competition.  A big part of the selection criteria was consistent product quality.  That prompted us to look at our short history in wine competitions and we discovered another proud fact.  Since winning 2 gold medals at our 1^st Ontario Wine Awards competition in April of 2007 nearly 60% of all wines entered in competitions have come home with a medal!  Much of that success is directly attributed to Arthur's superior winemaking skills and Steve's quiet support behind the scenes. 

Larry's expanding sales force continues to get our wines into more restaurants and special events.  Sheila gets full credit for our 1^st exposure on the shelves in the LCBO Vintages stores.  On the home front Debbie, Sharon and Mike's enthusiasm and knowledge of wine and the industry make the tasting room experience good for our customers.

Lastly and most importantly, we have had terrific customer support and because you share our wine with others our loyal Calamus fan base continues to broaden and allows us to grow.
