Lots to do at Calamus this Spring
We are offering a great line up of events at the winery this spring starting with "Wine and Herbs" for Mother's Day. Bring Mom out to the winery and enjoy a flight of 3 wines with an herb inspired treat. Mom goes home with a potted herb and a smile on her face having enjoyed a great afternoon with you!! Please contact the winery to pre-book your spot. $10 person.
Every weekend starting in June through to the end of August, Derek Saunders will be leading a "Vineyard Walk and Tasting" at 2:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. This includes a free tasting at the bar, a glass of wine and finger food - $10 per person. Contact the winery if your group is larger than 4.
On Sunday, May 29 we will be featuring "Five Summer Sippers" - taste great value summer wines on the deck overlooking the vineyard (inside if the weather doesn't cooperate). A tutored tasting will be held at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.. Please pre-book your spot by contacting the winery.

At how many places can you enjoy a beautiful vineyard view, enjoy a great glass of wine and have your own picnic? Calamus is one of the few wineries where you can experience this relaxing summertime pursuit.

New Releases
Our 2008 Calvin's Cab is now available at the winery or on-line. This is a fabulous summer red - great chilled and served with many BBQ favourites. Our 2008 Calamus White is also now available and has received some great reviews like this one - it's freakin' awesome!! A blend of Riesling and Chardonnay, this will be a patio favourite. We also have a newly released 2008 Semi Sweet Riesling - wonderful with cheese or paté.
