NFRW Works at Grassroots to Recapture

House and Senate

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Sue Lynch, president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued the following statement today:

"The National Federation of Republican Women is gearing up for a vigorous final push at the grassroots level in this last week leading up to Election Day. Our goal is to recapture the U.S. House and Senate, and we have more than 75,000 members laboring in communities across America to elect our Republican candidates for U.S. Congress.

I am confident that on November 2, Americans will go to the polls to vote against the radical Democrat agenda and for the Republican plan of freedom and prosperity, leading to a Republican gain of at least 47 seats in the House and a one- or two-seat majority in the Senate. The NFRW is proudly working to take back America."

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women's political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
