It's been a while since I have reached out, as it has been a busy 2011 with lots of coaching, creating, connecting, entrepreneuring, parenting, writing, loving, traveling, envisioning, GLOWing, organizing, planning, socializing, and downright living. I am excited about the blossoming possibilities for not only my Excavive work and the expanded professional direction I am taking, but also my upcoming marriage. For those of you who have not heard, I am getting married at the end of this month, April 30th. I love the idea of being a wife and stepmom, while bringing my new family into what has already been created by who I am and what I do. As I said to my daughter last week, there is an abundance of love for everyone to swim in, and I am inspired by the expression of that love to our collective families, friends, clients and communities.

 

After being single for almost 10 years, I can't wait to make the same level of personal commitment to my Texas fiancé, as I did to my business when Excavive was born eight years ago. I knew without a doubt that I had to do what I do- to inspire and empower others to be their best selves. It is with the same conviction that I know with certainty that Frank is my soul mate and that we have much to offer each other and others through this partnership. We have envisioned our life together and are co-creating our relationship, even while we are apart (he is in Texas, I am in Kentucky.)

 

So, to answer the BIG question... are you moving? The answer is no... I am keeping my base in Louisville, but am also expanding what I do to Texas and beyond. The cool thing about coaching (and the life that I have been creating the past 10 years) is that I can do what I do wherever I am and wherever the client is located, whether it's on top of a mountain, on a sunny beach or in the comfort of home. So that means, I can coach you wherever I am and YOU can get coaching wherever you are, and the miracles can continue to happen. The beauty of this amazing life is that we get to choose our journey and co-create it with the people we meet along the way. And with the wonders of technology, we can get started any time, any place.

 

I am convinced without a doubt that there are many more people who need my coaching, speaking and writing gifts of clarity, creativity, focus and fierceness, and it's not geographically specific. And, I am entering a new marriage with the same confidence that we will support each other, even when we are apart. This journey has affirmed the beauty of the coaching process both in getting coached and coaching others. I realize there are so many wonderful life lessons that coaching unearths... and it is up to each and every person to not only embrace their truth, but to also have the courage, confidence, boldness and fierceness to live it.  Here are the messages that have inspired me, and many of my clients, along the way.

I hope that you will consider how you are showing up in the world... Confucius said, "I want you to be everything that's you, deep at the center of your being." Are you intentionally designing the life you want, being who you are meant to be, truly living in your essence and fully showing up wherever you are?  Enliven your journey wherever you are on your path. He also said, "And remember, no matter where you go, there you are."
