Dear ,
I have been thinking about freedom lately. What does it really
mean? For me, my children, my friends, my clients and citizens our
country; to have complete freedom to be who we are and do what we want?
Rumi wrote:
"You were born with potential.
You were born with goodness and trust.
You were born with ideals and dreams.
You were born with greatness.
You were born with wings.
You were not meant for crawling, so don't.
You have wings.
Learn to use them and fly."
The above quote reminds me why I love
coaching so much and the importance of using our potential. The premise
in coaching that my clients are creative, resourceful and whole and
their answers are within. It is my job to unearth solutions and give
them the courage and confidence to move forward. I teach
my clients to use their wings and plot the course of where they want to
go. Everything is already there. So, are you free to use your full
potential? Are you pursuing your ideals and dreams? Do you trust
yourself to have your own answers? If not, I encourage you to find the
tools you need to fully embrace your greatness and start flying.
An example of freeing oneself is my
client success story this month. Kelley freed herself from the
corporate world and is now flying with her own business and enjoying
her other passions. She assists others in finding freedom with their
money, teaches fitness classes and loves her new authentic life.
I, too, took a risk several years ago
in re-creating my life to reflect my values. One of them was the freedom to
be who I am without concern about what others think. It has been
challenging at times (these are opportunities to grow and learn!) but
mostly it is extraordinary; in my creative pursuits through Excavive, my
impact on others both personally and professionally and my unending
curiosity to keep flying higher. I encourage you to consider how you
can "free yourself" and live a meaningful, liberated life.

Excavive Client Success
"I was referred
to Jennifer upon my initial thoughts of leaving corporate America and
starting my own consulting business. I was afraid of taking a risk and not
sure where to even start. As I spoke with Jennifer about my idea to become an
independent Financial Coach, it quickly grew from an idea to a plan to
reality! The discovery work I did with Jennifer freed me of many
self-limiting beliefs as well as helped me to prioritize my time and efforts.
For years I had
been limiting the use of my natural talents in order to fit in with what I
thought was the order of the world. By helping me uncover my own unique fit
in the world, Jennifer showed me the path to freeing my true personality and
harnessing its power to make the world a better place!
Using her coaching
skills combined with her own experiences and natural intuition, Jennifer set
me on the path to leaving the rat race and embarking on my journey to help
others discover freedom from money concerns and fears. She was frank and
insightful, with the perfect combination of holding me accountable to myself
while also encouraging me to think outside the box. I'm thrilled to offer my
clients peace of mind through my program: Your Life. Your Money. Your Plan.
Thank you,
Jennifer, for your guidance, gentleness, and for so freely giving of
yourself!"

My Evolve column this month, called "Free Yourself," discusses ways to
define your personal freedom, and includes both areas to let go of
(after all you are not free if you have created internal blocks)and
areas to move towards. Some ways include freedom of choice, freedom of
expression, and spiritual freedom. If you are interested in exploring
all 13 ways to find your freedom, I have an expanded version you can
read here.
