Dear ,
Well
it is April 13th, and I am just now writing my monthly newsletter to
you. I will be honest that I have not known what to say to you this month,
except that I have been living a creative, balanced, values-based life! As much
as I try to "walk the talk," I know it is not always easy. So
this month I have been actually doing what I inspire others to do, not just
teach it.
Professionally,
I have been busy with new and old awesome clients; writing my first column
about sex (stay tuned for next month!); speaking to business colleagues and
potential coaching clients; as well as doing the usual marketing and creative
work of Excavive. That has been rich and rewarding, and I realize I am honoring
a few of my key values: Beauty (with my newly designed business forms and
adding fresh flowers into my work space;) Creation (writing;) Freedom to
be Me; and Power & Intensity (as I take responsibility for the impact I am creating in the coaching profession, especially with my
clients.)
Personally,
I have been participating in a boot camp in order to make my health a priority;
engaging with my amazing friends and making new acquaintances; spending time
with my children; cleaning out the long-needed clutter of old books, clothes, etc;
and preparing for a trip to Mexico
with my grade-school girlfriends. The values I have honored here are Love &
Connection in my relationships; Beauty in my surroundings and with myself; Spiritual
Excavation as I cleanse the old and make space for the new; and Explorer as I
pack for my trip.
So,
as we embrace Spring, I encourage you to re-consider what's important to
you based on your values and give you permission to live a life based on who
you are. One place to discover this is by looking at your past. I
encourage you to read my column "The Value in Vintage" which
addresses just that. Also, my client Kim has been re-creating her life over
the past year based on her values, and she describes that below. Finally, if
you would like to discover your values through the Excavive coaching process,
please contact me at jennifer@excavive.com I give you huge permission to live a wildly, fulfilling authentic life
and have even included a permission slip to get you started. |
Excavive Client Success
"Working with Jennifer has been an extraordinary component of my personal and
professional growth. The "Discovery" phase of our work not only
allowed me to specify my personal values and goals, but helped me elevate the unique
and distinct value of my specific skills. I recommend
"Discovery" as an extremely powerful and empowering process for
anyone considering a life change, or feeling uninspired. For me that
process - coupled with Jennifer's encouragement as I worked to truly own those
skills, step into those values, and up to those goals - has helped me first
visualize and than manifest a life for myself that is vastly more satisfying,
enjoyable, authentic and hopeful to me than ever before.
Jennifer is a uniquely intuitive and pragmatic coach. Our sessions are
often fun, yet always focused and each time we talk, I get important insight,
coupled with practice points. When appropriate, she is nurturing,
fiercely protective, and/or challenges me to be my most authentic self.
I emphatically encourage anyone who is interested in having a better life or
working through a transition to utilize her as much as they are able. She
can facilitate enormous change, even when taken in small doses - don't hesitate
to take one."
