Dear ,
As I write this introduction on Sunday afternoon, I have my windows open on a beautiful Fall day and I have been doing everything but writing to you. I am cleaning out files, writing thank you notes, and thinking about my upcoming speeches. I have been procrastinating because I was not sure what I wanted to say, and suddenly John Mayer's song, "Say What You Need to Say" started playing from my I-tunes and I realized that's it! My message this month is "Say what you need to say!" Find your voice and use your words clearly, strongly and boldly. Each of us has the ability to speak and when used authentically, our voices can fully express who we are and what we most desire. Our words convey our moods, our needs, our power. They can influence, affirm, comfort, inspire, as well as harm and hurt. So, we are responsible for what we say, and don't say. So don't waste your words, your opportunities to say what is needed or the freedom of speech you have been given. Your voice is your vehicle to tell the world what you need and what you believe in.
So, speak up and speak out. Say what you need to say to the people in your life! As a life coach, I am given the chance to practice what I preach both personally and professionally by being clear, direct, empowered, kind and compassionate by saying what I need to say with my clients, my audiences, my children, my friends, my dates and the people I come into contact with throughout my day. I learned to use my voice by practicing, sometimes exceedingly well and other times miserably failing. AND, I keep going because it is all great learning. Finally, the upcoming coaching circles titled "Wit 'n' Wisdom" for women in transition will start in January, not this month. Please look for more details in the next couple of months. |

"I had the fortunate opportunity to attend some of Jennifer's speaking events and found her absolutely captivating and incredibly insightful. She has a unique, interactive and fun way of allowing you to put things into perspective. She makes you understand that you need to take time for yourself, love yourself and really think about what you want from life and how to go about achieving your goals. I 100% recommend her to anyone and hope that more people take advantage of her remarkable services because she is truly gifted." Ashli, Embrace Your Brilliance Attendee
"Jennifer's Wired and Inspired talk left me wanting to begin trying to discover a more authentic version of myself. The welcoming, relaxed atmosphere allowed me to connect with others present and made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. This talk made me feel like I was not just an attendee, but an active participant in the evening's conversation." Melody, Wired & Inspired Attendee
"During my tenure as president of the
Junior League of Louisville, I had a number of
opportunities to work with Jennifer. The feedback that I
received from the sessions was always positive and well received.
Jennifer is an excellent speaker who brings a wealth of experience, depth
and understanding to any group she is working with."
