Greetings!
My
newsletter is a few days later this month, as I have been pondering what to share
with you. I have been busy transitioning
from the lazier, unstructured hours of longer summer days, family vacations, and
working from afar to the more scheduled days of a new school year, a rejuvenated
client base, 2009 business planning and the start of several new projects. My life
is also changing as friendships evolve, children are growing up (my son started
high school!) and a recent relationship sadly ended. I am experiencing sadness
and joy; solitude and connection; embracing the old and inviting in the new;
reflecting on the past and dreaming of the future. I am connected to the humanness
of life and am embracing change and claiming what is next in life.
Eleanor
Roosevelt said, "The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience
to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience."
I am choosing to move closer towards my goals and dreams such as experiencing
living in another culture by considering a brief immersion in Spain (an idea
that came out in MY last coaching session.) I am also actively working on new
products and services for you.
One new product I
am offering will start next month, the "WIT 'n Wisdom Coaching Circle for Women In Transition." Life
Coach Susan Westbrook will be joining me as we assist women in life transitions
by offering a 6-week group coaching experience to those needing to discover how
to move forward into the next phase of life. Are you experiencing
your first child? An empty nest? A new job? Successful completion of a
terminal degree or training program? Retirement? A move to another city, state,
or country? Are you newly married? Recently divorced? Are you in need of a
support group to help you move over a rocky spot in your life? Consider joining
our discussions. Group
sessions will take place by phone on Wednesdays, beginning October 8, at 9:00
am and noon EST. Look for more details in the next few weeks
My
featured client this month, Holly Houston,
understands the importance of transitions as she assists others in their life transitions
as an attorney AND as a community volunteer. Once a skeptic of coaching, you
will learn more about her successes below and how coaching is helping her to
embrace life.
I
invite you to think about what parts of your life are changing, and how coaching
might assist you in making a smoother transition. To grow, learn, feel, laugh,
cry, do, be, go with the flow, make mistakes, start over, change, dream, and
most of all, keep moving forward in whatever you choose to do. Embrace what's
next, trust yourself and always be true to you. |

"As
a self-reliant problem solver, I was hesitant to use Jennifer because I thought
Life Coaching was so 'frou-frou.' However, she has made me focus on
what I want in my life to look like and her services are indispensable to my
business and my future." -Holly Houston, Attorney at Law
