A Portrait Story
I can't tell you how many times I look up at our family room wall at the portraits of the children when they were smaller. Sammy in his little red baseball cap and big blue eyes makes me a little teary-eyed sometimes. Seems like yesterday he was 2. And now he is 6. He doesn't wear the costumes anymore that he wore daily when he was little. And I miss those chubby little cheeks he used to have. I am thankful, though, to have the portraits on the wall to remind me of all these things.
