Oshkosh Area  United Way Thank you! Gracias! Asanti! Danke! Merci! The Oshkosh Area United Way wants to thank everyone, volunteers and donators, who helped make this year's Stuff the Bus a success! Thanks to all the support, over 4,500 supplies were collected at this year's Stuff the Bus campaign. All supplies will be given to the Community Back to School Fair, which will supply 800 area children who otherwise may not be able to afford the necessities to start the upcoming school year out right! You have made a difference, so give yourself a pat on the back! With appreciation, Oshkosh Area United Way Back to Football Friday      This year, the United Way and NFL are teaming up to bring back football to the community. Back to Football Friday is a celebration of the return of the beloved football season, and a chance for health and wellness promotion. Schools and business are eligible to participate in this fun filled way to build team spirit and also learn healthy living. The event can take place any day from September 10-17. Schools must register on the website www.nflrush.com/backtofootball. Businesses need not register. Both schools and businessess must submit three essays about the way they chose to celebrate Back to Football Friday, along with three to six photos in celebration mode. The winning school will receive a $10,000 health and wellness grant and a visit from a player from their NFL team! The winning business will receive a party sponsored by the NFL and also a visit from an NFL player. The United Way area from which the winning school has been chosen from will also receive a $10,000 grant from the NFL. Are your ready for some football? The United Way and NFL are! The Oshkosh Area United Way would like to thank the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry for their participation as a VITA tax site during the past tax season!
