Greetings! This Thanksgiving our family is practicing an "Attitude of Gratitude" and I thought I would share some of our thoughts with you.
We recognize how fortunate we are to have our healthy choices in place and how valuable our wellness is.
We are grateful to all of those who have made the choice to live healthier lifestyles in whatever way they can.
We are grateful to practice the following during this holiday:
- Making filtered water with ionized minerals our first choice of beverage and organic tea as our second choice.
- Mindful eating with plenty of fresh organic vegetables as our first choice and largest portion, organic protein as our second choice and whole grain carbohydrates as our third choice and smallest portion.
- One dessert choice: this year we have chosen organic granny smith apple pie with organic whipped cream.
- Incorporating laughter into our family time by sharing jokes, stories and skits.
We are grateful that during a time when so many are afraid of getting sick with a cold or flu we have family recipes that soothe us like lemon-honey-ginger tea.
We hope you share an "Attitude of Gratitude" this weekend too.
