Campaign Chairman Bill Davies' Report
We are fast approaching our goal but need your help to reach it. I invite you to join with me in lending a helping hand. Please contact John Relaford if you would like to schedule a workplace campaign with your organization. You can also give online or mail a check to United Way of NWGA at P.O. Box 566, Dalton, GA 30722.
We have reached 70% of our $3.25 million goal. I am thankful for the investments from both corporate partners and individual donors. Several companies have wrapped up their employee campaigns in the past two weeks:

Laughter was heard; paint brushes were flying! The United Way Volunteer Center recently coordinated a project for 80 Human Resource Managers from Shaw

Industries. Volunteers painted 2 large rooms at Cross Plains Community Partner and an additional two large rooms at the Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center, both United Way partner agencies. The volunteers also enjoyed playing basketball with Cross Plains participants at the Dalton Recreation Department. A big thanks to Adam Longino and Jim Reddoch for helping plan the Day of Caring!

Tandus Food Drive | |
Tandus employees held a food drive last month. They donated $2,500 worth of food to United Way, helping to feed hungry families during the holidays. Check out the photos on our Picasa page. |

United Way Young Leaders Society
Membership
Now is the perfect time to renew your membership in the Young Leaders Society, an organization for those in their 20's, 30's, and 40's who exemplify philanthropy and volunteerism. Gifts to United Way at the $365 level or higher qualify you for membership in the Young Leaders Society. Visit our website to donate online.
