Join United Way's Day of Action! Help us ensure that children in Northwest Georgia have access to books so they can be successful in school and beyond. From today until June 21st we are hosting a Virtual Book Drive to raise $2,000.00 to buy brand new books for children in Northwest Georgia. Here is how you can help:
- Donate today! Every $2.50 will help provide one book for a child in need.

This Society is designed to further philanthropy and volunteerism by offering social, educational, and service opportunities for all its members. Looper Beautification Project

Denise Baker, United Way AmeriCorps VISTA member who serves at Looper Speech and Hearing Center, organized a beautification project on Saturday, May 14th. Thirty-eight volunteers including three master gardeners: Donna Parker, Sylvia Kwee, and Velma Ray weeded, planted, and spread mulch around the center to revitalize our partner agency. Disaster Relief Efforts

On April 29th, United Way of Northwest Georgia, in partnership with Shaw Industries, collected bottled water and personal hygiene items for the victims of the devastating tornado. Our community banded together and brought items as well as monetary donations for relief efforts. We appreciate those who reached out and showed what it means to LIVE UNITED.
