Shaw Production Planning Department volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club (a United Way agency), making slime with the children in the summer program.
Dana Lake, Shaw Enterprise Excellence Leader & Young Leaders Society member, commented, "Thank you to the United Way Volunteer Center for helping set this up for us. We were able to meet with all the kids (K-5th grade), which was a great experience."

Shaw Industries Customer Service Collects School Supplies

Members of Shaw Industries Customer Service Department recently collected school supplies to be given out to needy children through area school social workers. So many area families are struggling to pay for basic essentials, that they can not afford to send their children to school with the basic tools such as notebook paper and pencils. This team saw the need and collected what they could to help out.
