Pandemics, Bioterrorism, and International Security
Biosecurity is a growing concern for many private and public organizations.
Bioterrorist attacks must be responded to both as public health emergencies and as criminal acts. Likewise, the threat of a pandemic requires not only public health preparedness, but also public safety and national security preparedness.
By studying how elite organizations have responded to novel biological threats in the past, such as SARS and the 2001 Anthrax Letter Attacks, participants in Pandemics, Bioterrorism, and International Security will learn how to address current and emerging biosecurity risks.
Join us for this three-day, non-credit course, July 23-25, 2012, offered by the biodefense master's program at George Mason University. To learn more about this unique opportunity or to register, please click here. Be sure to take advantage of the early bird fee through June 1.
