payPayroll Professional Certificate

Now offered in a flexible blended course format!

The Payroll Professional Certificate is the American Payroll Association's payroll professional development and certification exam preparation program.

payrollComprised of two professional development courses, Payroll PayTrainŽ Fundamentals and Payroll PayTrainŽ Mastery, this program is designed for all levels of payroll administration. Whether you are interested in preparing for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification exams, or are new to the industry and need to learn the basics of payroll, our courses will help you meet your goals.  Click here to learn more.

Using Blackboard, a web-based set of course tools designed to deliver online learning, you will be part of a virtual class that will provide a thorough review of the learning system. You will follow a weekly schedule and interact with your instructor and peers in a virtual environment. This blended course offers flexible scheduling through the online components, while giving you the opportunity to attend live classes with instructor and peer interaction. Several sessions will be scheduled to meet live, with the option to teleconference in if you are not in the local area.

Government Contracting Fundamentals
and
Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards

Offered through a unique partnership between George Mason University's Office of Continuing Professional Education and Deltek Inc., these two courses are part of the Contracting with the Federal Government Certificate program. This program is designed to help government contracting professionals ensure that their business operations remain compliant with current federal standards.

This comprehensive program includes five two-day courses, from fundamentals to dealing with audits, and are taught by instructors with extensive backgrounds in government contracting.
